Who Is New York Sparkle Girl?
Elizabeth B. Zebrowski was born and raised in New York City as well as the Eastern End of Long Island. She is a writer, a musician, a seasoned artist and a business professional, wearing many hats. Her passion for creativity started at a young age and it fueled her desire to pursue music, writing and art, propelling her into avenues where she has been able to incorporate them into her everyday life. New York City is her main source for inspiration and for her vibrant and colorful sides. She started out as an intern in the Publicity department of Rolling Stone Magazine and put her Public Relations background to use. This is where she was bitten by the bug for writing and planning special events. She then proceeded to move on to the radio industry where she learned editing and studio production, participated in various live-on-location events and became an on-air personality. It was her experience in the radio industry and as a Disc Jockey that led
her into the Business Management end of the Makeup and Fashion Industry. She planned various events at New York City night clubs and restaurants while working on her blog. All of these events led up to her becoming the Director of Special Projects for JACQMagazine.com, an online fashion and luxury lifestyle magazine currently on hiatus.
Elizabeth edited and managed a team of writers while interviewing various designers, artists, musicians and covered cultural events. She made New York City culture her beat and followed Fashion Weeks Gone By and their backstage workings, behind-the-scenes events and various photo shoots. Her “Off The Beaten Path” sense of savvy and flair for writing has permitted her to resurrect Newyorksparklegirl.com and create a virtual hub where music, events and fashion can all come together allowing her to continue "Serving Up What’s Hot Without The Dish!"
